Auto Art Graz

For the first „Auto Art“ in the Capital of Culture Graz, the hall became the stage for 36 prototypes and concept cars of leading manufacturers. ARNO-Design developed an exciting ambience for the museum-like design exhibition and presented the automobiles on three dozen equally arranged levels. The pedestals with the valuable unique specimens rise from the floor without approach and keep the visitors at a distance. Above this, as a counterpart and complement, a luminous cube made of white fabric. The floor and platforms are covered with a dark layer of matte, finely shredded car tires, giving the cars their shiny chrome appearance. A spectacular staging on 5000 square meters for the car as an art object.
